The Account Manager will oversee: the creation, execution, and analysis of deployment project contracts keep track of the project milestone deliverables keep track of project financials ensure partners conform to contractual terms keep track of project SLA’s and KPIs.  Account manager duties will include partner management, maintaining various deployment project accounts, developing new accounts, coordinating with Finance, Legal, Business Development and Customer Delivery teams.  A successful account manager should have excellent communication and relationship-building skills as well as the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

 

Responsibilities

  • Below are some responsibilities that account managers are expected to assume:  

  • Manage the accounts of deployment projects. Collaborate with project managers to plan projects meticulously to derisk the project milestones and associated payments.

  • Keep track of project milestones, contractual commitments project plans to meet project goals and objectives.

  • Ensure a commercial plan and warranty forecast is in place and monitored monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project.

  • Oversee the administration of contracts with regard to customer-related modifications and changes in delivery or commercial conditions.

  • Produce and analyze progress reports, updated costs and forecasts.

  • Ensure correct commercial engagement of subcontractors.

  • Implement the risk management process, review risk register and check risk controls.

  • Complete and distribute the Contract Initiation/Completion form for each project.

  • Ensure weekly review of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out, and lookahead programs are in place.

  • Collaborate with Internal and External stakeholders to determine product or service requirements specific to each project.

  • Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance project requirements and to prevent delays

  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to track project commercials and minimize any commercial risks.

  • Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address any project delivery/commercial concerns in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor project performance.

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

  • Below are the qualifications expected of an account manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Excellent technical and communication skills

  • Experience using customer relationship management software.

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

  • Competency using Microsoft Office Suite

  • A track record of following through on commitments.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • Basic Knowledge of Taxation

  • Basic Knowledge of Supply Chain
