  • Application Support:
  • Provide first-level support for application issues reported by users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MySQL, SSRS, and Mvel code base.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Utilize mortgage domain knowledge to understand and address specific industry-related issues.
  • Provide support for Loan Review Systems, particularly Laura Mac.
  • Database Management:
  • Monitor and maintain MySQL databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Execute SQL queries and scripts to resolve application issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Reporting Services:
  • Support and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot SSRS reports based on user requirements.
  • Mvel Code Base:
  • Understand and debug Mvel code base for application support.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix code-related issues.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of support activities, issue resolutions, and procedural guidelines.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by creating and updating support documentation and FAQs.
  • User Communication:
  • Provide clear and effective communication with users regarding issue status and resolution steps.
  • Offer guidance and training to users on application functionality and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of support services.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to MySQL, SSRS, Mvel, and the mortgage domain.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support with a focus on MySQL, SSRS, and Mvel code base.
  • Specific experience in the mortgage domain and familiarity with loan review systems, particularly Laura Mac.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MySQL database management and SQL query execution.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Strong understanding of Mvel code base and ability to debug and support Mvel scripts.
