Purpose:

The Quality Director for large transformation projects will play a pivotal role in ensuring process

assurance and compliance across complex initiatives involving multiple product and cross-functional teams. This position requires expertise in implementing robust governance frameworks

encompassing program management, change management, and risk management to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and methodologies for cloud operations.


- Establish and maintain quality standards, metrics, and KPIs for cloud services.


- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.


- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to optimize service reliability and performance.


- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


- Define and enforce best practices for incident management, problem resolution, and change management.


- Monitor and analyse operational data to identify trends and patterns, proactively addressing potential issues.


- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management.


- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud operations and quality assurance.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud operations and quality assurance.


- Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).


- Experience in leading quality assurance teams and implementing QA methodologies


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex systems and data sets.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.


- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Cloud Security Professional, Certified Cloud Architect) are a plus.


Soft skill expectations:

 Good management skills to effectively manage Quality team

 Ability to maturely interact and communicate with leadership teams

 Ability to train and guide Quality team. Set directions and guide team to meet goals. Ensure unit& expectations from quality team (goals) are met.

 Create presentations and conduct training on quality to internal stakeholders / customers
