Position: Senior - QA
Job Description
- A QA Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance team in a software development project
- Interact with Business Analysis and Development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
- Responsible for Web-based testing for high-traffic, high-recognition client websites
- Responsible for handling complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues
- Responsible for creation and execution of test scripts and test data for module/integration/system testing.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triggering of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Requirements:
- 5 - 8yrs years of experience in software QA testing role.
- Good analytical and logical skills to be able to think through the new application and strategise testing
- Relevant work experience in manual testing of Web applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool (Mabl)
- Good understanding of Web and Mobile based projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
- Ideally have experience with Linux environment
Technical skills:
Manual Testing, API Testing, Functional Testing, Web Testing, Mobile Testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science or a related field.
- Certifications in software testing such as ISTQB or CMMI are preferred.
