Application Manager – SAP Security Authorization Specialist

About the job (Job Responsibilities)Designing and implementing SAP authorization roles, profiles, and authorizations in line with business requirements and best practices.Collaborating with functional and technical teams to understand business processes and translate them into effective SAP authorization solutions.Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilities within SAP systems.Troubleshooting authorization-related issues and providing timely resolution to ensure uninterrupted business operations.Developing and maintaining documentation related to SAP authorization processes, roles, and responsibilities for audit and compliance purposes.Keeping abreast of SAP security best practices, new technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve the security posture of SAP systems.Providing guidance and training to SAP administrators and end-users on authorization-related processes and best practices.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.Extensive experience working with SAP security and authorization concepts, including role design, user management, and segregation of duties.In-depth knowledge of SAP security tools and technologies, such as SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and SAP Security Administration.Strong understanding of SAP authorization objects, authorization classes, and troubleshooting authorization-related issues.Proficiency in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and implementing security controls within the SAP environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - Security with SAP NetWeaver or SAP Certified Development Specialist - ABAP for SAP HANA.
Key Generic Competencies:Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) processes and ticketing systems for user access requests and incident management.During the interviews we will present some use cases where the candidate needs to demonstrate knowledge about SU01, SU24, SUIM and other authorization and / or user access management related topics.
Preferred skills:Experience with CSI/Pathlock Role Build Management tool.Experience with S4HANA and FIORI authorizations.Experience with BW authorization concepts
