Location: Goregaon (Bangur Nagar), Mumbai

Job Type: Full-Time

Company Overview: Sunchem India is a manufacturer of high quality skincare and homecare products. We are involved in manufacturing formulations, providing our customers with market specific solutions packaging and distribution as well as worldwide customer support.

Position Overview: As the E-Commerce Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire e-commerce function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless operations to achieve business goals. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the online shopping experience, increase revenue, and grow our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning & Execution:- Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy to drive growth and profitability.- Set clear goals and KPIs for the e-commerce team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.- Identify new opportunities for growth, including new markets, product lines, and partnerships.- Team Leadership & Management:- Lead, mentor, and manage the e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.- Coordinate with marketing, IT, customer service, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to e-commerce operations.- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities for team members.- Operational Excellence:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.- Implement best practices for website usability, customer service, order fulfillment, and inventory management.- Monitor and optimize the user journey from landing page to checkout, ensuring minimal friction and maximum conversion.- Data Analysis & Optimization:- Utilize analytics tools to monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.- Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve website performance and user experience.- Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.- Budget Management:- Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.- Monitor expenditures and ROI, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets.- Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure the best possible terms.- Customer Experience & Satisfaction:- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by continuously improving the online shopping experience.- Address and resolve customer issues and feedback promptly and effectively.- Stay updated with industry trends and customer preferences to keep the e-commerce platform competitive and appealing.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or a similar leadership role.- Proven track record of driving e-commerce growth and achieving business targets.- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online customer behavior.- Excellent leadership and team management skills.- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the e-commerce industry.- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.- Proficiency in using analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar.- Project management skills and experience with agile methodologies.
