About the role: The Aboriginal Communities Water Services (ACWS) Program is guided by the principles of our Aboriginal Engagement Strategy ‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’, to deliver community and organisational outcomes and benefits. In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Program Director where you’ll provide administration, engagement and communications to support the Aboriginal Communities Water Services program. Here are some key tasks: · Provide administrative support to the Program Director and the team · Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective communication and community engagement strategies to support the delivery of the Aboriginal Communities Water Services program · Support the development of internal and external communication materials · Coordinate and facilitate meetings and presentations · Participate in planning and coordinating events and travel logistics to support community and stakeholder engagement activities Your skills and experiences: · This position relates to Section 50(d) of the West Australian Equal Opportunity Act 1984, where Aboriginality is considered a genuine occupational qualification for this position · Tertiary qualification in either Business, Communications, or related discipline · Relevant experience in communication and stakeholder engagement relating to Aboriginal stakeholder groups · Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols · Well-developed interpersonal and customer relationship skills · Highly developed verbal and written communication skills · Good conceptual and analytical skills · Well organised with attention to detail · Demonstrated well-developed competencies in the use of Microsoft computing Suite Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity, please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.
