Microsoft Dynamics Consultant

Penta Consulting are a technology resource solutions provider to leading OEMs across the EMEA region. We are currently working with our leading global client in the search for a D365 POS Functional Consultant.
This will be a 9 month initial contract, with chance of extension afterwards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional workshops to gather and analyse business requirements related to retail operations and POS systems.
- Configure and customize D365 Commerce POS modules to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other D365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Provide end-to-end support during implementation phases including UAT, training, and go-live.
- Develop functional documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related issues post-deployment.
- Stay updated on Microsoft's roadmap for D365 Commerce and recommend enhancements.
- Support data migration and testing activities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail.
- Hands-on experience with D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce).
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including sales, inventory, promotions, and customer management.
- Experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and D365 configuration tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Microsoft certifications in D365 Commerce or related modules (preferred).
