Role Overview:

As a Sales Associate at Palettier, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by engaging with fashion designers and fashion labels to promote our innovative software solutions. This position combines the responsibilities of a merchandiser and a sales associate, requiring a unique blend of product knowledge, sales expertise, and a passion for the Indian fashion industry. You will be responsible for pitching our software services, onboarding new clients, and ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Client Engagement:

- Actively reach out to fashion designers, fashion labels, and potential clients to introduce our software services.- Conduct product demonstrations and pitch the benefits of our software solutions.- Build and maintain strong relationships with fashion designers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.- Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Merchandising and Product Knowledge:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, fashion technology advancements, and competitor offerings.- Good sense of trends, colour, texture, visual perspective are important, as are personal style and creativity.- Assist clients in understanding how our software can enhance their design processes, inventory management, and overall business operations.- Gather client feedback to inform product development and improve service offerings.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Client Onboarding and Support:

- Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to using our software.- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to help clients maximize the benefits of our solutions.- Monitor client usage and satisfaction, offering additional training or resources as needed.- Develop and maintain comprehensive client records, including contact information, purchase history, and support interactions.

Requirements

- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or fashion-related industry.- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.

Skills

- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.- Good understanding of the fashion industry, including current trends and challenges faced by designers and studios.- Proficiency in using sales tools.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
