IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive IT support to internal users, resolving network connectivity issues (LAN & WAN), hardware malfunctions, software problems, and other user-related IT challenges.
- Manage user lifecycles, including setting up and deploying computers for new hires and facilitating off-boarding processes.
- Image and deploy laptops to ensure consistent configurations and maintain system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VPN and remote access issues to ensure uninterrupted productivity for remote workers.
- Maintain system security by managing Bitlocker encryption, antivirus software, and performing malware/spyware removal.
- Assist with user queries related to Microsoft Office 365 (Enterprise) applications.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016 and above).
(Expertise Required) :
- Provide technical support for virtualized environments using VMware ESXi and vSphere (Working knowledge preferred).
- Configure and troubleshoot network security using Palo Alto Firewalls (Working knowledge preferred).
- Maintain and troubleshoot Mitel Telephony Systems (Working knowledge preferred).
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Technology, or a related field OR
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, with demonstrably strong technical skills.
General Skills :
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues in both LAN and WAN environments.
- Experience imaging and deploying laptops.
- Experience providing desktop/laptop computer hardware support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Enterprise) applications.
- Strong oral/written communication and listening skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team or independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong ethical orientation with the ability to maintain confidential information.
