Summary

Provide global Accounting and FP&A support for the business. In this role, you will be responsible for the business unit’s global consolidation, financial reporting and analysis, as well as project management for its monthly forecast and annual budget processes.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting and Planning Manager the successful candidate for this position will collaborate with the business and own a broad range of FP&A functions around the world. You will work closely with people at all levels of the organization to maximize growth, development, and return on the investment we make in our employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage business partners to ensure that closing and reporting deadlines are met
  • Work with site controllers to track completeness of monthly close process, ensuring site results are loaded correctly
  • Consolidate monthly Business Unit financial results across multiple international sites
  • Prepare monthly reporting schedules for parent company
  • Manage collection of inputs for and consolidate the monthly BU financial forecast
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand operational results and respond to parent inquiries
  • Assist in forecast, related support and presentation prep for annual budget and long range plan processes.
  • Support the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, Modeling tools, and Dashboards
  • Continuously develop systems and processes; evaluate current processes, identify best practices, develop plans to reach goals and implement improvements
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to influence decision making with financial perspective
  • May assist with Accounting related matters including preparing month end close schedules and account reconciliations

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Must have minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, or product costing
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company with multiple operating divisions and currencies is a plus
  • Ability to identify trends through research and analysis of various data
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to interface with senior management
  • Must possess a learning mindset
