Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and creative eLearning professional to join our growing team. You will wear two hats – Instructional Designer and Storyboard Artist – playing a pivotal role in crafting exceptional eLearning modules from concept to completion. You'll translate complex information into clear, engaging learning experiences that leverage your instructional design expertise, strong storytelling skills, and proficiency in Articulate Storyline.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning objectives to develop effective instructional strategies.
  • Research and develop engaging content aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Craft clear and concise learning activities and assessments.
  • Create visually compelling storyboards that effectively communicate the learning narrative.
  • Utilize strong artistic skills to design clear and concise storyboard panels with appropriate composition, layout, and character design (if applicable).
  • Integrate instructional design best practices with creative storytelling techniques to enhance the learning experience.
  • Ensure storyboards align with the overall tone, style, and branding of the eLearning module.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure project success.
  • Develop eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline, incorporating interactivity, multimedia elements, and assessments.
  • Manage revisions and iterate on storyboards, learning materials, and eLearning modules based on feedback.
  • May create basic animations, illustrations, or visual assets to support the storyboards (depending on skillset).
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in eLearning design, storytelling, and instructional design.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop clear, concise, and engaging learning experiences.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), and eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline).
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills and the ability to create compelling storyboards.
  • Proficiency in digital illustration software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Articulate Storyline and the ability to develop interactive eLearning modules.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A passion for eLearning and creating impactful learning experiences.
