Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Salesforce Administrator. The position is hybrid, primarily located in Bengaluru with some remote work opportunities. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for managing Salesforce.com administration tasks, creating and maintaining validation rules, developing dashboards and reports, and performing data analysis. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Salesforce Administrator to manage and enhance our Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and usability for internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce administration tasks.
  • Perform user management (create/delete users, roles, profiles, permission sets).
  • Configure and maintain custom objects , fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and reports/dashboards.
  • Implement and manage process automation (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
  • Manage data imports/exports using tools like Data Loader and Workbench .
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the system with regular audits and deduplication.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver Salesforce solutions.
  • Maintain system documentation and Salesforce best practices.
  • Stay updated on new Salesforce releases and features, applying them as appropriate.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator .
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud .
  • Proficiency in configuration of standard and custom Salesforce features.
  • Experience with Reports , Dashboards , and Data Loader .
  • Familiarity with profile and permission set security model.
  • Understanding of process automation (Flows is a must; Process Builder and Workflow Rules a plus).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (must-have or in progress).
  • Experience with Experience Cloud , AppExchange products , or third-party integrations .
  • Familiarity with Change Sets , Sandbox environments , and deployment process .
  • Exposure to basic Apex or Lightning App Builder is a plus.
