Mid-level Full Stack Developer

Position Overview:

We are looking 2 x skilled Mid-level Full Stack Developers with expertise in Vue 3and Laravel to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible forassisting in hotfixes, writing tests, and implementing new features across our webapplications. You will collaborate closely with the dev team and Head of Technologyto ensure high-quality, efficient, and reliable software solutions. This is an excitingopportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our applications whileworking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the timely resolution of hotfixes and critical issues in Vue 3 andLaravel applications, ensuring quick response times and minimal disruption tousers.2. Collaborate with the team to identify the root cause of issues, develop andimplement appropriate solutions, and thoroughly test the fixes.3. Write comprehensive and effective unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-endtests to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications.4. Contribute to the implementation of new features, from technical design tocoding, testing, and deployment.5. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices andcoding standards.6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related toVue 3, Laravel, and software testing.7. Continuously contribute to process improvement initiatives, suggesting ideasto enhance development efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.

As a Mid-level Full Stack developer, we’re looking for 3+ years of experienceand proficiency in both sets of requirements below.

Requirements for Vue:

1. Proficiency in Vue.js: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Vue.js,including Vue 3, Vue Router, Vuex, and Vue CLI. Ability to develop dynamicand responsive user interfaces using Vue components and templates.2. JavaScript and HTML/CSS: Solid understanding of core JavaScript conceptsand proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3. Familiarity with modern JavaScriptframeworks and libraries.3. Vue.js Ecosystem: Knowledge of the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue Routerfor client-side routing, Vuex for state management, and Vue CLI for projectsetup and development workflow.4. Single-Page Applications (SPAs): Experience in building Single-PageApplications using Vue.js, understanding concepts like routing, lazy loading,and component-based architecture.5. UI/UX Implementation: Ability to work closely with UI/UX designers toimplement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Understanding ofresponsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.6. API Integration: Proficiency in integrating with RESTful APIs and consumingdata from external sources. Knowledge of asynchronous programming andhandling API responses.7. State Management: Familiarity with state management patterns and librarieslike Vuex to efficiently manage application state across components.8. Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha, andexperience in writing test cases for Vue components and application logic.9. Version Control: Proficiency in Git for version control, including branching,merging, and resolving conflicts. Understanding of collaborative developmentworkflows using Git.10. Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize Vue.js applications forperformance, including code splitting, lazy loading, and implementing cachingstrategies.11. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills and the abilityto debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently, using browser developer toolsand Vue.js devtools.12. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills and theability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.13. Continuous Learning: A passion for staying updated with the latest trends,best practices, and emerging technologies in frontend development,specifically in the Vue.js ecosystem.

Requirements for PHP/Laravel:

1. Proficiency in PHP: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PHPprogramming language, including its core concepts, object-orientedprogramming (OOP), and understanding of PHP frameworks.2. Laravel Framework: Expertise in Laravel framework, including Laravel 8 orhigher versions. Proficiency in building RESTful APIs, implementingauthentication and authorization mechanisms, and working with Laravel'sORM (Eloquent) for database interactions.3. MySQL/Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of database concepts,particularly with MySQL or other relational databases. Experience indesigning database schemas, writing efficient queries, and optimizingdatabase performance.4. MVC Architecture: Understanding of the Model-View-Controller (MVC)architectural pattern and its application within Laravel. Ability to design anddevelop well-structured, modular, and scalable Laravel applications.5. Version Control: Proficiency in Git for version control, including branching,merging, and resolving conflicts. Understanding of collaborative developmentworkflows using Git.6. Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like PHPUnit and experience inwriting test cases for Laravel applications. Understanding of test-drivendevelopment (TDD) principles and ability to ensure code coverage throughautomated tests.7. API Integration: Proficiency in integrating with third-party APIs and consumingexternal services within Laravel applications. Understanding of authenticationmechanisms, request/response handling, and error handling in APIintegrations.8. Security Best Practices: Awareness of common web application securityvulnerabilities and best practices for securing Laravel applications, includinginput validation, CSRF protection, and secure authentication.9. Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize Laravel applications forperformance, including query optimization, caching strategies, and leveragingLaravel's caching mechanisms.10. Documentation: Strong documentation skills to document code, APIs, andtechnical specifications. Ability to write clear and concise documentation tofacilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.11. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities toidentify and resolve issues in Laravel applications. Ability to debug andtroubleshoot errors efficiently.12. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills and theability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.13.
