Senior HR Manager

CVV is looking for Senior HR Manager/ HR Officer who is responsible for the development and execution of the human resource approach that supports the University. The candidate is responsible for overseeing and implementing the University’s HR policies and procedures and all its functions, including recruitment, orientation, training, compensation, performance appraisal, compliance with state and national labour laws.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create organizational policies and procedures for effective functioning of the organization
- Oversee the payroll management, talent management, including staff training and leadership development, retention, recognition, employee communication and career development of faculty and staff of the University
- Oversee manpower planning, background verification and execution across the University
- Oversee staffing strategies and implementation of plans and programs. Identify and cultivate appropriate and effective sources for candidates in various fields as per the University’s need
- Provide leadership oversight to the HR leads in defining their organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities to achieve organizational goals
- Oversee performance management and appraisal program of all faculty and staff members in line with the updated employment laws and regulations
- All other duties as assigned by the University from time to time

Desired Qualification:
- A candidate with master’s degree in human resources management from reputed institutions in India/ abroad
- Good communication skills
- 10-15 years of professional experience in all aspects of human resources management and staff development and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of professional experience with higher educational institutions
- Proficiency in HR related software including talent management systems, time and attendance systems, etc
