Lead Technical Editor

The Lead Technical Editor will be responsible for overseeing the creation, review, and finalization of technical documentation and content. This role involves managing a team of writers, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all technical materials are accurate, clear, and aligned with the standards.


Key Responsibilities :


- Editorial Leadership: Lead the editorial process for all technical content, including white papers, solution guides, and best practices guides. Ensure consistency, technical accuracy, and adherence to the companys style and tone guidelines.


- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of technical subjects related to data management.


- Quality Assurance: Oversee and implement a rigorous content review process, ensuring that all the guides are error-free, technically sound, and easy to understand.


- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance editorial workflows, processes, and tools to improve efficiency, content quality, and consistency across all production stages.


- Content Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track and assess the performance of technical content, making data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies and enhance user engagement.


- Documentation Standards: Maintain and regularly update company-wide documentation standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all technical content.


Requirements :


- Proven experience (8+ years) in a technical editing role, with a strong portfolio showcasing editorial projects.


- Preferred the candidates who has exposure to the Data management projects


- Exceptional time management and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.


- Familiarity with Agile development processes and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


- Proficiency with industry-standard tools and platforms, including MS Office, Google Workspace, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Asana, Jira, Slack, Snagit, Lucidchart/Visio, Git, and Google Drive.
