The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:  Role Summary(Purpose: why this roleexists?)The Project Engineering team is responsible for the process,mechanical engineering and coordinating design activities ofconventional water and wastewater systems.DesiredResponsibilities /Expectations Have basic understanding of P&ID and is able to read heat and massbalance diagrams. Has basic understanding in pre treatment, filtration and posttreatment Review P&IDs and provide mark ups per project specification andmass balance diagram. Mark up P&IDs customer tagging or international taggingrequirements, ex. KKS tagging Fully understand the requirement and impact of heat & mass balancediagram and interpret on P&ID line flows. Perform sanity checks of P&IDs pressure, flow, storage levelrequirements, MOC detailing, dosing studies, product fact checkssuch as membrane details. Perform line sizing and velocity check calculations Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate as sold requirements tocustomer on the P&IDs to proposal engineering. Ensure correctness, verify and cross check process projectioncalculations , ex membrane tank sizing, blower capacity and sizing, airfor mixing requirements Independently perform line sizing & velocity check calculations usingapplicable standards or best engineering practice Independently develop equipment list along with equipment weightcalculations Thorough understanding and interpretation of MOCs, pipingspecifications with applicable codes & standards like ASME, ASTM,API, DIN Independently develop valve lists selecting compatible and optimizedmaterial constructs Independently develop electrical load list along with electrical loadcalculations. Independently develop pump sizing calculations for differentapplication categories like centrifugal, reciprocating, axial, multistagepumps, etc. Independently develop blower sizing calculations for differentapplication categories like centrifugal, reciprocating blowers Independently develop instrument list as per project specification Review & approve line sizing & velocity check calculations fordifferent fluid applications Review & approve equipment lists along with equipment weightcalculations Review & approve valve lists Independent preparation of technical package for criticalcommodities likes valves, instruments, specialty items such asbellows, ejectors Independent preparation of technical package for rotatingequipments likes pumps, blowers, centrifuge, compressors. Independent preparation of technical package preparation of staticequipments like atmospheric tanks, filter housings Perform manual material take off from PIDs, facility arrangementdrawings or hand sketches Review material take off with piping specifications Coordinate with modelers to monitor design progress. Review Fabrication Drawing-Puddle Pipe, Spools, beam, hanger,lifting modulesKey Deliverables (uponwhich Performance canbe measured)1. Quality - work is completed meeting the requirements of the projectand to the satisfaction of the customer.2. Schedule – activities are completed in the allotted timeframe.3.
