SQL Database Admin/Developer Location : Noida, Sector 68 Working Days : 5 Days (Saturday & Sunday will be fixed off) Working Mode : Work from Office Experience Required : 10 yrs. Notice Period : Immediate / 15-30 days. Position Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and proficient SQL Database Administrator/Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our organization's database systems. With over 10 years of hands-on experience, you will ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance. This is a 100% individual contributor role, demanding a high level of expertise and autonomy. Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software. - Design, implement, and maintain database structures. - Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning. - Monitor database performance and optimize as needed. - Implement and maintain robust database security measures, including user authentication and authorization. - Perform regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing queries and database performance. - Implement and enforce best practices for database performance and resource utilization. - Diagnose and resolve complex database-related issues efficiently. - Provide expert technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT professionals. - Stay abreast of the latest SQL Server updates and patches. - Plan and execute database upgrades seamlessly. - Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. - Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure efficient database design and implementation. - Work closely with system administrators and network engineers to address infrastructure-related issues. Skills Must Have : - Extensive experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading SQL Server software. - Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database structures. - Proven ability to ensure data integrity and availability through robust backup and disaster recovery strategies. - Proficiency in monitoring and optimizing database performance. - Strong understanding and implementation of database security measures, including user authentication and authorization. - Expertise in identifying and resolving performance issues, optimizing queries and database performance. - Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills for database-related issues. - Experience in planning and executing database upgrades and applying patches. - Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation. - Strong collaboration skills with development teams, system administrators, and network engineers. - Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator or similar role (10 Years). - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its various components. - Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures. - Extensive experience in performance tuning and optimization. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
