Test Automation Lead

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies to support agile software development processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test automation requirements, identify test cases, and prioritize automation efforts.
  • Architect and implement scalable and maintainable automation solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
  • Design and execute test plans and test cases, analyzing test results and identifying defects and areas for improvement.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for test automation, including code reviews, standards, and guidelines.
  • Mentor and coach team members on test automation best practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing efforts with business goals and priorities.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate test automation processes and tools, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in test automation, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.

Technical Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
  • Experience with API testing tools and techniques (e. g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
