Job Overview :


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Test Lead to join our dynamic software development team. The Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, guiding a team of testers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test planning, execution, and team coordination.

Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Strategy:

- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and timelines.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Team Management:

- Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

- Distribute testing tasks among team members and ensure efficient use of resources.

Test Execution and Oversight:

- Coordinate and oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

- Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and critical path.

Defect Management:

- Implement and manage defect tracking processes, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.

- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate effective communication and resolution of defects.

Test Automation:

- Evaluate and implement test automation strategies to increase testing efficiency.

- Collaborate with automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts.

Reporting and Communication:

- Provide regular test progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and findings.

- Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and other team members to address testing-related concerns and ensure alignment with project goals.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously assess and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process 6-8 Years of Experience

- Working with multiple internal IT organizations and external suppliers, virtually and across different geographies.

- Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and delivery processes (including waterfall and agile methodologies).

- Broad experience and deep knowledge in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques, and tools. -

- Good understanding of defect & testing tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).

- Good exposure to Bug Life Cycle and Automation Framework.

- Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing (e.g., 1 or more Saucelabs, Appium, Selenium, & Jenkins) along with automation framework definition.

- Application of corporate policies and procedures. - A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.

- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, collaboration, and teamwork.

- Good learning ability regarding technologies and business processes

- Strong communication written and verbal.

- elf-motivated to prioritize and complete multiple tasks without direct supervision.

- Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, priorities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with test management tools and test automation frameworks.

- Experience in testing and automation in agile and continuous delivery models

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Technical curiosity and desire to innovate

- Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure timely project delivery.

- Responsible to communicate across the testing community and development teams; Sharing knowledge via training session.

- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding testing progress and timelines by providing testing reports and metrics.

- Experience in tools and testing methodologies for API, data, load testing.

- Experience in AWS (understanding of AWS services like SQS Queue, Lambda functions, S3 etc.)
