As a Platform Engineer at Lifion you’ll be at the forefront of platform application development, driving the end-to-end creation of a suite of applications. Leveraging your technical foundation, you’ll have the opportunity to rapidly develop solutions that directly impact customers and their organizations.

Take your full stack development skills to the next level utilizing a combination of low-code/no-code frameworks, microservices and cloud native tools that runs on top of AWS stack. Responsibilities

The Platform Engineer is a primary resource for technical design, development, testing, support and ongoing maintenance – end-to-end ownership for platform applications Implement and configure application functionality including user interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logic Work closely with associates in the US to gather & understand requirements, propose solutions and provide support Work with support teams to troubleshoot issues and determine root cause Provide feedback on processes and drive both technology change as well as product insight Ensure all work is tested thoroughly through manual and automated testing Ability to multi task and take ownership of own progress & tasks Contribute to ongoing development of the team’s processes, procedures and best practices

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters / Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field 0-3 years of development experience Proficiency in one of the following languages C#, Java, C++, Ruby Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and Web Standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideally, experience with for Server Side JavaScript development Familiarity with client side MVC frameworks, preferably Experience with at least one major server side web development stack. Technical knowledge in RDBMS / NoSQL. Experience in GIT. Experience Unix/Linux OS. Experience with Agile as software development methodology Strong verbal communications, cross-group collaboration skills, analytical, structured and strategic thinking. Great interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, belief in teamwork. Problem Solving skills and ability to swim in ambiguity
