If you’re looking for a challenging opportunity that starts with technology and ends only where you want to take it, then consider joining the Lifion Development team.ResponsibilitiesThe Platform Engineer is a primary resource for technical design, development, testing, support and ongoing maintenance – end-to-end ownership for platform applicationsImplement and configure application functionality including user interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logicWork closely with associates in the US to gather & understand requirements, propose solutions and provide supportWork with support teams to troubleshoot issues and determine root causeProvide feedback on processes and drive both technology change as well as product insightEnsure all work is tested thoroughly through manual and automated testingAbility to multi task and take ownership of own progress & tasksContribute to ongoing development of the team’s processes, procedures and best practicesQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Masters / Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field0-3 years of development experienceProficiency in one of the following languages C#, Java, C++, RubyThorough knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and Web StandardsPreferred Qualifications:Ideally, experience with for Server Side JavaScript developmentFamiliarity with client side MVC frameworks, preferablyExperience with at least one major server side web development stack.Technical knowledge in RDBMS / NoSQL.Experience in GIT.Experience Unix/Linux OS.Experience with Agile as software development methodologyStrong verbal communications, cross-group collaboration skills, analytical, structured and strategic thinking.Great interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, belief in teamwork.Problem Solving skills and ability to swim in ambiguity
