Xeno - Senior Backend Engineer - Java Technologies

For example, we help a brand like Dunkin Donuts with 3 million customers create 3 million unique campaigns every couple of weeks.
We help brands increase campaign conversions by more than 150%, while reducing the marketing manager's workload by 95%.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize 3-6 years of solid experience in backend and platform engineering to build, optimize, and scale our platform.
- Write, test, and debug high-quality code with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Lead a small, mission-aligned team to deliver large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct R& D; on new infrastructure components, rapidly driving POCs and integrating them into our stack (e., Kong, Loki, Athena, Redshift Spectrum, Data Archival).
- Establish and enforce best practices for developer productivity and platform performance.
- Champion SQL optimization, ensuring efficient database queries and performance.
- Leverage your experience with Kubernetes (K8) to optimize and maintain our infrastructure.
- Drive cost-efficient infrastructure solutions, optimizing resource usage without compromising performance.
- Utilize and enhance our observability stack to monitor and optimize the performance of microservices.
- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, delivering high-impact projects with ambitious timelines and a high degree of ownership.
Requirements :
- 3-6 years in backend and platform engineering.
- Leadership potential for team management and mentoring.
- Experience in building cost-efficient infrastructure.
- Adaptable to startup environments, willing to work relentlessly on high-impact projects with self-driven timelines.
- Strong coding and debugging abilities with proficiency in Java.
- Expertise in SQL optimization and Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability stacks.
- Ability to drive fast-paced R& D and integrate cutting-edge infrastructure.
- Knowledge of things like Athena, Redshift Spectrum, and Message Brokers - RabbitMQ/Kafka.
- Some knowledge of Kinesis or other data streaming tech and Infra as Code.
- Experience with data engineering tools.
- BTech in Computer Science Engineering or related field
