IDC is seeking for an

Account Manager

to join IDC India Sales organization in Mumbai / Bangalore India.

The initial focus of the

Account Manager

will be to accelerate IDC's current successful business with Emerging and mid-market vendors. The AMs are responsible for selling an enhanced and tailored product and solution set geared to the needs of Emerging and mid-market vendors. This product leverages IDC’s detailed research and data across technology markets, vendors, buyers, and world-class Go-To-Market platforms. This role will report to the Sales Manager or Director Sales and is quota-carrying.

The AM will be experts in account management and engaging with senior CXO’s and building professional relationship and manage all accounts related activity. Creating new business, contract closer, payment follow up and achieving their assigned sales quota.

This role will be based in IDC's office in Mumbai / Bangalore India with a hybrid schedule.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate revenue in new sales of IDC’s Products to emerging and mid-market vendors.Manage assigned account and mange existing relationship and build new account pipeline, safeguard the renewals, and increase the revenue in named accounts.Develop an in-depth knowledge of IDC’s Products, as well as build strong relationships with individuals across IDC as a member of a collaborative team.Prospect for incremental opportunities, follow up on proposal generation, respond to client requests for information and/or problems, and continue to enhance the client value proposition.Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure.Manage and oversee all renewal processes.Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly quotas.Open for travel for client meeting.

QualificationsMBA / PG Degree or equivalent experience, in business or sales & marketing disciplines are preferred.5 – 7 years of quota-carrying experience in sales experience, with proven experience in closing sales with prospects and clients.Previous B2B technology sales experience is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.Ability to build relationships and navigate organizations to identify key decision-makers.Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Capable of solving problems and making decisions quickly.CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Minimum domestic travel within city 80-100% and across multi city 20-50%.
