Install, configure, and upgrade MySQL database software and related productsFamiliarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for MySQL, MS SQL )Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift, Oracle).Design and implement database structures, tables, indexes, and functions.In-depth knowledge of MySQL database architecture, administration, and optimization.Experience with database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with database design and implementation best practices.Experience in Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient use of resources.Hands on Experience on Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, database design issues, and other inefficiencies.Experience in Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies.Perform regular database backups and test restore procedures to ensure data integrity.Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.Monitor database activity for security vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.Monitor system health and proactively address issues to ensure continuous availability.Strong knowledge in Investigate and resolve database-related incidents and problems.Collaborate with development teams to support database-related application development.Work with other IT teams to integrate database systems with other applications and technologies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.Proven experience as a MySQL Database Administrator.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Experience with automation tools for database management.
