Job Description – Senior Accountant (Jewellery Industry)Position: Senior AccountantLocation: DahisarReports To: Finance Head / DirectorExperience: 6–10 years (preferred in jewellery, retail, or export-oriented companies)Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Accountant to lead the finance and accounts team for our jewellery business operations in India and overseas. The role requires strong leadership, cross-border accounting exposure, vendor management, reconciliations, process improvement, and the ability to handle dynamic business requirements with a proactive and learning mindset.Currently, the company operates in India, the UK, and Australia, with planned expansion into additional international markets. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing accounting and compliance across these regions.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management- Act as a leader, guiding and mentoring the accounts team to achieve departmental goals.- Allocate, review, and monitor team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.- Set processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls for efficiency.- Encourage continuous learning and upskilling within the team.Accounting & Financial Management- Manage end-to-end accounting for Indian entities and overseas operations (UK, Australia, and future markets).- Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.- Prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.- Handle inter-company transactions and ensure accurate inter-company reconciliations.- Oversee
