About the Role:

We at Heritage International Xperiential School, Primary Campus Gurgaon, are looking for a Teaching Associate to join our passionate team of educators. The role is designed to support our mission of creating a child-centered, experiential learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a Teaching Associate, you will work closely with lead teachers to deliver engaging lessons, support classroom activities, and provide individualized attention to students. At the Primary level, the focus will be on building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and life skills through inquiry-driven, hands-on learning. At the Upper Primary level, you will assist with subject-specific instruction, foster critical thinking, and help students transition smoothly into more advanced academic challenges.

Role & responsibilities:

Instructional Support

  • Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Support individualized and small-group learning to address diverse student needs.
  • Use activity-based and interactive teaching methods to enhance learning.
  • Provide remedial assistance for students requiring additional support.

Classroom Management

  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Support smooth conduct of classroom routines, group activities, and transitions.
  • Assist in implementing behavior management strategies effectively.

Assessment & Progress Tracking

  • Support in preparing, conducting, and evaluating classwork, homework, and assessments.
  • Maintain student records and track academic progress.
  • Provide feedback to students and share observations with lead teachers.

Curriculum & Resource Development

  • Assist in creating and organizing teaching aids, worksheets, and digital resources.
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities, events, and school programs.
  • Suggest innovative methods and tools to enhance student engagement.

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, and staff to achieve academic goals.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and professional learning opportunities.
  • Uphold school policies, values, and ethos in all responsibilities.
