Factory Administrator (Operations & Maintenance) / Facility Manager Location: Bhiwandi, Thane, Kalyan, or Nearby Areas Experience: 2 to 4 Years Job Type: Full-Time Application Process: Interested candidate can share resume on Job Summary: We are seeking a Factory Administrator (Operations & Maintenance) / Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and facility management of our factory. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and hands-on experience in infrastructure upkeep, equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and workforce administration. This role is critical to ensuring smooth factory operations, safety compliance, and overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Facility Management: - Conduct daily inspections of the factory premises to ensure safety, orderliness, and compliance. - Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance of shop floors, washrooms, and common areas. - Ensure workers adhere to uniform policies, PPE usage, and grooming standards. - Manage staff accommodation, including lockers, mattresses, and cooling systems. - Coordinate and oversee civil work, infrastructure maintenance, and expansion projects. Maintenance & Equipment Handling: - Perform no-load testing and maintenance of Diesel Generators (DG) to ensure operational readiness. - Maintain diesel supply and power backup arrangements. - Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of factory equipment and utilities. - Ensure timely renewal and execution of AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) for heavy machinery. Vendor & Procurement Coordination: - Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and supply procurement. - Verify inventory and supplies against invoices to prevent discrepancies. - Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain strong supplier relationships. Employee & Administrative Management: - Monitor daily worker attendance and punctuality. - Collect food payments from workers and maintain records. - Distribute monthly cash salaries as per company policies. - Maintain overtime records for housekeeping and pantry staff. Compliance & Reporting: - Maintain detailed records on diesel consumption, electrical work, and preventive maintenance. - Assist in preparing and reviewing property lease agreements with legal consultants. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, factory laws, and company policies. - Arrange food and transport for visitors, vendors, and industrial partners. Qualifications & Experience Required: - Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory). - 2 to 4 years of experience in factory administration, maintenance, or facility management. - Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and safety compliance. - Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory management, and maintenance reporting. - Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and leadership skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Preferred Candidate Location: - Candidates from Bhiwandi, Thane, Kalyan, or nearby areas will be given preference.
