Job Summary:

We are seeking a Social Media Executive to manage and execute our social media strategy with a focus on creating engagement-driving content. This role will involve timely execution of the social media grid, video content planning, and maintaining performance reports. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and passionate about growing an active and engaged online community.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Engagement:

  • Develop engaging, relatable, and on-brand content for Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
  • Create and execute social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and community building.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content aligns with Nap Chief’s brand tone and visual identity.
  • Use trends, memes, and community interests to craft content that resonates with the target audience (young and new moms).

Social Media Grid Management:

  • Own and maintain the social media grid, ensuring all content is posted in a timely manner.
  • Plan and organize the grid layout for cohesive and visually appealing social profiles.
  • Coordinate with the graphic design and content teams to ensure content is ready for scheduled posting.

Video Content Planning & Execution:

  • Ideate and plan video content such as reels, behind-the-scenes, and product highlights to keep the audience engaged.
  • Manage the production of video content, collaborating with photographers and videographers where necessary.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for social media channels and meet platform-specific requirements.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries across all social media platforms.
  • Proactively engage with our community by commenting on relevant posts and following audience trends.
  • Foster relationships with influencers and engage them to increase reach and visibility.

Performance Reporting & Insights:

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics such as engagement, follower growth, reach, and video views.
  • Prepare regular reports to identify trends, track progress, and make data-driven decisions for optimizing content.
  • Provide insights and suggestions for improving content strategy based on performance data.

Trend Monitoring & Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
  • Suggest innovative approaches to stay ahead of trends and differentiate Nap Chief from competitors.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
  • Experience with content creation, especially short-form video content (e.g., reels).
  • Strong communication and writing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).
  • Creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
