Description

ULG is recruiting for an IT Security Engineer that is willing to play a crucial role in our cybersecurity efforts. You will be responsible for designing, updating, implementing, and maintaining our security systems to ensure the highest level of protection for ULG and our clients. This position demands a proactive approach to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and respond to security incidents with precision and efficiency. You must be able to speak to auditors and supply audit evidence to Clients, Regulators and Auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and deploy secure and scalable Azure solutions to meet business and security needs. Implement Azure security controls and manage Azure Security Center, ensuring comprehensive threat protection. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing within Azure environments. Develop and enforce policies for Azure identity and access management, data protection, and network security. Automate security monitoring and incident response using Azure tools. Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle. Provide expertise on Azure security best practices to team members and stakeholders. Keep abreast of the latest Azure security trends, threats, and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in IT security, with a strong focus on Azure environments. Deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture and its security features. Proficiency in implementing and managing Azure Active Directory, Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CISM).
