Job description :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases and applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing database performance.

Responsibilities :

- Database Development : Design, develop, and implement Oracle databases, schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions to support business applications.

- Application Development : Develop and maintain Oracle-based applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Query Optimization : Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance to enhance application efficiency and responsiveness.

- Data Integration : Integrate Oracle databases with other systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

- Data Security : Implement and enforce data security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking, to protect sensitive information.

- Backup and Recovery : Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime in the event of system failures or disasters.

- Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including database schemas, data dictionaries, and application configurations, to facilitate system maintenance and knowledge sharing.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and business analysts, to gather requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

- Performance Monitoring : Monitor database performance and resource utilization using Oracle Enterprise Manager or similar tools, proactively identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in Oracle development and database management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as an Oracle Developer or Database Administrator, with a strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle tools.

- Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration tasks, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade.

- Experience with Oracle performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with data modeling tools (i.e., ERwin, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler) and version control systems (i.e., Git).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Oracle certifications (i.e., Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
