Junior QA Engineer Who are we? Orchid Security is on a mission to unify identity controls. Our vision is to automate the discovery, assessment, and management of identity security posture across all on-premise and cloud applications, helping organizations lower costs, maintain compliance, and reduce risk. What will you do? Design & Execute Tests: Write, and maintain clear test plans and test cases based on product requirements. Perform Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing (functional, regression, UI/UX) to ensure product quality before release. Identify & Report Bugs: Discover, meticulously document, and track defects in our bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Collaborate & Verify: Work closely with developers and product managers to communicate defects and verify fixes. Support the SDLC: Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, helping to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Requirements: Who are you? 0-2 years of software QA experience, ideally in a B2 B Saa S environment (strong internships count). A strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and the SDLC. Experience with bug tracking tools (like Jira). Experience writing clear test cases and test plans. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills. A proactive self-starter: you take initiative, ask questions, and manage your time effectively. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Bonus points Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman). Basic knowledge of SQL.
