Job Responsibilities :

- Plan, design, and implement Oracle database migrations using Oracle Data Guard technology.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather migration requirements and create detailed migration plans.

- Perform pre-migration assessments and analyze database dependencies.

- Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard environments for high availability and disaster recovery.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard replication to ensure data consistency.

- Optimize database performance during and after migration.

- Develop and maintain migration documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migrations with minimal impact on business operations.

- Stay up-to-date with Oracle database and Data Guard best practices and industry trends.

Key Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- Proven experience in Oracle database administration and migration using Oracle Data Guard.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting.

- Experience with Oracle Database 12c, 19c, or higher.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
