Job Title: High-Speed Hardware Circuit Design Engineer

Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Vijayawada

Job Type: TP/Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Speed Hardware Circuit Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing high-speed electronic circuits and systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers, to develop cutting-edge hardware solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and cost requirements of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Circuit Design and Simulation:

  • Design high-speed digital and analog circuits for various hardware platforms.
  • Perform simulations using tools like SPICE, HFSS, and other relevant EDA tools.
  • Design for high-speed signal integrity and power integrity in PCB layouts.

2. Signal Integrity Analysis:

  • Analyze and optimize signal integrity for high-speed communication interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR).
  • Conduct impedance matching, crosstalk analysis, and timing closure.
  • Work on signal trace routing to minimize noise, jitter, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).

3. Hardware Prototyping and Testing:

  • Develop PCB layouts and review them for high-speed performance.
  • Prototype and test high-speed circuits using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other lab instruments.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues related to signal integrity and high-speed design.





4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with firmware, system, and mechanical engineers to ensure end-to-end functionality of designs.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving design methodologies and processes.

5. Documentation and Compliance:

  • Develop detailed design specifications, schematics, BOM (Bill of Materials), and PCB layout guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IPC).
  • Maintain and update documentation for design revisions and new product developments.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in high-speed circuit design and development.

Proficiency in high-speed interface protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR).

Hands-on experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis.

3. Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Cadence Allegro, HFSS).

Experience with high-speed PCB design and layout techniques.

Familiarity with RF circuit design principles.

Strong analytical and debugging skills for high-speed signals.

4. Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
