About the Role:
Ovyo is currently seeking a Middleware Developer with a solid background with NodeJS and React using TypeScript and middleware. This is a great opportunity to add continue to increase the impact we add across a range of internal and external projects.
You will have a background in software development having used NodeJS, React using TypeScript, experience with Frameworks like Express and Axios as well as experience with AWS.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the project and where needed contribute directly by writing code, managing builds and performing other hands-on tasks
Design systems for scale and reuse
Source code management
Design solutions based on client needs that deliver the very best in business models and workflows
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing
Required Experience:
3 plus years of experience within software development and middleware development
Experience with Node.js and React using Typescript
Experience with frameworks Express, Axios, etc
Experience with AWS stack, S3 buckets, Cloudfront, Lambdas, CLI, etc
Experience with RedisDB
Experience with metric tools like New relic and Kibana
