This role would focus on design of backend to handle large amounts of data by following Carrier software development standards.Primary responsibilities:You design and implement cloud-based data architectures, and pipelines, and efficiently handle large amounts of data for the Industrial IOT SegmentProvision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurationsEnsure performance, security, and availability of databases both on prem and cloudPerform database administration tasks, including automation, performance monitoring and tuning, and query optimization.Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.Assisting database development teams in designing new database programs that meet the organization s data storage needs.Writing new support programs and scripts to increase data storage capacity.Reviewing database and user reports, as well as system information.Performing debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflicts.Documenting processes related to database design, configuration, and performance.Build and deploy data pipelines and database processes, including SQL and NoSQL databases for enterprise data management applicationsDelivery of AWS SQL databases for Production, Development and QA teamsWrite intermediate to advanced SQL for data operations and reporting efforts.Performance tuning and review of database-level objects including stored proceduresExperience with Windows and Linux & solid knowledge about time-series data managementExperience writing SQL queries, Scala knowledge preferable and navigating databases of programmes preferable Knowledge of and experience using data models and data dictionaries in industry 4.0 domain.

Experience and Skills Required:10-15 years of overall experience in database domainAt least 3 years of experience in Cloud native database managementThorough working knowledge in AWS, Lambdas, Microservices etc.,Experience in executing CI/CD processes.Good Knowledge on Cloud security & security design control implementationExperience in developing APIs (Rest, GraphQL) and MQTT protocols.Great knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology

B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech qualification
