About the Role We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Technology Head (Role) to lead and inspire our technology team. You will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence across all aspects of technology, including product development, customer project delivery, and technical support. As a member of the executive leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring its successful execution.


Job Description:

  • 8+ years of extensive hands on development, maintenance and support experience of delivery platforms built on PERL, MySQL/Oracle PLSQL with Linux/Solaris.
  • Strong architecture, analysis, design, coding, and code review skills with applications developed using PERL and MySQL/Oracle PLSQL technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience in implementation of design patterns and best practices.
  • Experience in profiling, identifying and optimizing existing code and code developed by other team members.
  • Design/Redesign and implement system components based on business requirements.
  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
  • Design product extensions with customer-facing implementation teams as product is rolled out to customers.
  • Interface with support, development, QA, and infrastructure teams in the US, Europe and India.
  • Complies with all confidentially and non-disclosure policies and/ or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.


Required Skills:

  • Design and development of enterprise applications using PERL, Shell and MySQL / Oracle PLSQL technologies.
  • PERL 5
  • Linux/Solaris, Apache HTTP Server
  • MySQL 5, Oracle / PLSQL 11 or above
  • JavaScript Frameworks
  • XML, XSD, CSS, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, REST
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience with development “best practices”, including source control, automated builds, and unit testing.
