Position Overview:
The Marketing Head for the Transaction Banking Products business is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role involves a wide range of marketing activities, such as digital marketing, events and conferences and content creation. The individual will lead a marketing team and work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with company goals and objectives. Identify target markets, customer personas, and competitive positioning to guide marketing efforts. Set measurable marketing goals and KPIs to track performance and optimize strategies.
- Lead Generation: Design and execute lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising. Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to nurture leads through the sales funnel. Work with the sales team to ensure alignment and effective lead handoff processes.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee the company’s online presence, including the website, social media channels, and online advertising. Manage high-quality content creation such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars. Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent, relevant, and engaging content across all platforms. Leverage content to educate and engage prospects, guiding them through the customer journey.
- Events and Conferences: Plan, organize, and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote the platform. Identify speaking opportunities and secure participation in relevant industry events to boost brand visibility. Manage event budgets, logistics, and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels. Conduct market research to gather customer insights and guide brand strategy. Monitor brand perception and make adjustments to enhance brand equity.
- Performance Tracking: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve performance. Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing activities, results, and ROI.
- Content Management-Strategy Development : Create a content strategy that aligns with marketing goals and engages target audiences. Oversee the production of diverse content types (blogs, videos, etc.) to educate and attract customers. Ensure content is optimized for search engines to drive organic traffic.
- Product Management- Collaborate with teams to define product features based on market research. Manage products from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals. Conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning and pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
- MBA from a Tier 1 institution is preferred.
- Over 18 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least five years in a leadership role in the Banking or Fintech industry.
- Experience in platform businesses is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and techniques within the banking industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the software industry and market dynamics.
