Accounts Manager

Job Description Duties and Responsibilities

Objective

A great Accounts manager has excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in departmental procedures and policies and will be able to actively discover new ways to do the job more efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Making timely payments of utility bills.
  • Prepare ledgers and reconciliation with Debtors & Creditors
  • Prepare sales report & expense report
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closingS
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations


The Profile

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as accounts executive or account manager
  • In-depth understanding of accounting procedures, compliances and policies
  • Familiarity with financial calculations & statutory compliances.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • B.Com/M.Com in Accounts or relative field
  • You have at least 2 years experience within a Accountant (General Ledger) or Accounting Manager role, ideally within the Real Estate industry.
  • You have working knowledge of Audit, Balance Sheet, Book Keeping, GST, MS Excel, Tally, Tax Returns and TDS
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
