Job DescriptionJewelsHire , a distinguished leader in the realm of jewellery industry recruitment, extends its invitation for a position at a renowned jewellery manufacturer located in Andheri East, Mumbai.DescriptionRole:We are looking for an experienced General Manager - Finance to manage cash flow, developand implement financial processes, manage relationships with financial institutions, andidentify and mitigate financial risks.➢ Key Responsibilities:1- Accounts & Finance• Overseeing & managing the accounts payable and the accounts’ receivable function.• Finalizing the balance sheet and presenting the MIS as per the decided cost sheet andschedule• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. Establishingand enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.• Run revenue and expense variance analysis• Identify the risks and mitigate them• Routinely review revenue cycle to identify and address issues affecting overallperformance proactively, handling internal audits• Maintain good relationships with the bankers2- Compliance & Legal• Ensure a company complies with tax laws and regulations specific industry and region• Liaise with lawyers and auditors, Legal agreement reviews3- System & Automation• Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial andoperational information. Evaluate the finance team and make suggestions for automatingprocesses and increasing working efficiency. Eg: ERP4- Team Management & Training• Mentor and develop a team managing work allocation, systems training, performanceevaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic5- Other Tasks• Handling Inventory and Customs related aspects• Capital expenses/ fixed asset-related aspects➢ The incumbent will be required to collaborate with the following people:1- With Secretary General: (Group CFO)• Finalize balance sheet/AC payable receivable, Compliance, Global structuring of thecompany, Banking, and fundraising-related requirements2- CEO & Board of Directors• Balance sheet, MIS, Cashflow, Financial annual objectives3- With the Director of Business Finance plus Governance• Budgets and forecasts, recommendations, Balance Sheet & MIS4- Functional Heads• Payments, reimbursement, budgets, Approvals, revenue cycle, compliance5- Business Finance• Collaborate with the Business Finance Director in order to assess and evaluate thefinancial performance of an organization with regard to long-term operational goals,budgets, and forecasts. Provide insights and recommendations for the organization's shorttermand long - term growth plans.Requirements Technical Requirements: ‐Must Have:

1. MBA2. FEMA3. IFRS4. GAAP5. Retail BackgroundPersonality Requirements:Strong Analytical Skills: A GM Finance should possess excellent analytical abilities to assess financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on financial insights.

Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically is crucial for a GM Finance as they need to align financial goals with the organization's overall strategic objectives and provide guidance on financial planning and risk management.

Leadership and Communication: Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for a GM Finance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, and lead the finance department towards achieving organizational objectives.

Integrity and Ethical Conduct: As a custodian of financial information, a GM Finance must maintain the highest ethical standards, display integrity, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Adaptability and Resilience: The finance landscape is dynamic, and a GM Finance should be adaptable to changing business environments, be resilient in the face of challenges, and possess the ability to find innovative solutions to financial issues.

Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are critical in financial management. A GM Finance should have a meticulous approach to reviewing financial reports, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in financial data.

Business Acumen: A comprehensive understanding of business operations and industry trends enables a GM Finance to provide strategic financial advice, assess investment opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
