The LCCI (Lilly Capability Center India), BI&A (Business Insights & Analytics) team is supporting business decisions for the commercial and marketing functions in the US and ex-US affiliates. This team is part of the LCCI - Commercial Services organization and works very closely with business and brand teams across Lilly USA and other affiliates. The team currently comprises of more than 100 staff members, with varied backgrounds and skills across data management, visualization, analytics and data sciences, business, and commercial operations etc.

To meet the requirements of the Northern European (NE) Hub, the LCCI BI&A team in partnership with the NE hub BI,A&O team is hiring for a business analyst who will manage and develop high quality insights and analytics for the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway). The incumbent will work closely with the local team in the hub to provide high quality insights and analytics that can drive better customer experience and business impact.

The NE Hub Business Intelligence, analytics and operations (BI, A & O) team is the central point of authority and accountability on all data and analytics needs in the hub and our responsible for powering our business through the provision of trusted descriptive and diagnostic analytics.

The NE Hub Business analyst is responsible for effectively and efficiently providing data analysis and insights to various Brands/Business Units that will be used to improve customer experiences and achieve business outcomes.

This role will develop a deep understanding of various NE Hub data sources and will communicate analytics outputs to stakeholders in a way that drives key business decisions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong learning agility and the ability to effectively work within a cross functional team. The individual should be action-oriented with strong focus on results and provide positive energy to the organization.

This is an individual contributor role based in the LCCI analytics team, Bangalore, with potential travel to Sweden.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Execution, create and update analytics dashboards for business decision making requirements. Build and exhibit deep expertise on available data sets and support data enabled decision

making using data from external suppliers and internal data for various sources.

Engage with business partners to provide solutions to problems with increased scope and complexity (Brand or Business Unit) by identifying relevant data and providing actionable insights. Present the results and recommendations in front of business leaders and be able to influence / challenge business decisions. Consistent delivery of high quality, timely and insightful reports to enable brand and senior leadership to track performance of Eli Lilly brandsDevelop and publish regularly, market intelligence reports/ dashboards on KPIs related to sales, sales growth, wholesaler inventory, market share, market growth, sales force activity, P2P and non-personal channel promotional impressions and engagement metrics etc. Developing into a trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the project including kick-off, methodology development, execution, insight generation and data visualization and results presentation to various stakeholders Ability to manage regular and ad-hoc deliverables, strong project management will be needed. Find and execute opportunities for productivity improvements by automation or process changes.Developing a good understanding of databases, workflow, and rules to improve outcomes. Work with LCCI team/ leadership to help grow stature and value delivered from the team.Work with local and global leadership, learn best practices and share knowledge across team.

Experience Required

5+ years of in-depth hands-on experience in business/market intelligence, performance reporting and/or descriptive analytics for Marketing or other commercial leadership A good knowledge of Knime or any ETL tools is mandatory. Good knowledge of Lilly internal data sets, including RADAR. Experience with Tableau/ Power BI/ other visualization tools Detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical data and business rules is preferred. Should be able to understand flow of data and have a transformation mind-set. Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets. Strong problem-solving skills to be able to structure and solve open ended business problems. Experience in working with business partners located in another country, must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work, remotely, across time-zones.

Education

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences, OR Pharma/ any other related field with progressive experience in business intelligence/ reporting.
