Specific accountabilities: Businessrequirements Execute design work consistent with design and brandstandards functional and technical environment businessrequirements and customer needs UX Design Study develop andprototype the user experience concepts of a product in a usercentered design process Work closely with User ExperienceResearchers to make recommendations and propose improvements Workclosely with development teams to ensure a high qualityimplementation of design artefacts Work closely with productmanagers to iteratively specify and refine the scope of a delivery1st speciality: Information Architecture Interaction Design Studyrecommend Analyze user business processes and workflows. Work withUX Researchers to observe and analyze user studies and to raisedesign topics that need user research investigation. Obtain inputfrom UX Researchers subject matter experts to determine content andproduce a framework for the product design. Study data from webanalytics heuristic evaluations and UX Research results to makerecommendations and propose improvements. Create informationarchitecture diagrams sketches storyboards wireframes and screenflows which support the strategic vision and business objectives.Create proofs of concept to explore design ideas support usabilitytesting and obtain buyin. Deliver appropriate level ofspecification needed to ensure high quality development on time.Participate to workshops with internal and external stakeholders tograsp requirements present UX concepts and iterate on thesolutions. Develop prototypes ranging from paperandpencil conceptsto wireframes or interactive prototypes. Work with Web Designers torefine the interactive experience and produce designs consistentwith the brand. 2nd speciality: Web Design (or: Visual Design) Workclosely with all UX design related positions to rely onusercentered design principles to produce highquality visuals.Focus on the aesthetics of a user interface and any relatedmaterials by strategically implementing typography layout colorgraphics visual effects imagery texture mood taking into account UXprinciples emotional design principles style guidelines and thetechnical constraints of development teams. Find graphicalsolutions to express ideas and metaphors and define visualenvironment of new products. Create a consistent look and feelacross all products and communicate effectively to present ideasand designs. Present the user interface visually so information iseasy to read easy to understand and easy to find. Build visualguidelines and design style guide to define UI components andsupport the graphical consistency of a product or set of products.Create prototypes interactive mockups and proofs of concept toexplore design ideas support usability testing and obtain buyin byusing interaction design tools as well as frontend developmentframeworks. Work closely with the Information Architects andInteraction Designers to ensure that the mockups and prototypesreflect the architecture and interactionprinciples.
