Our client is one of the leading Technology companies globally with more than a billion $ turnover. They are currently looking for an individual to head their IR vertical.
Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate would be accountable for proper communications between the management and the investor community. They would be responsible for delivering clear information and data on behalf of the companyMaintaining a proper Investor Relations (IR) plan and upgrading as per requirement. This will encompass:Calendar for investor meetings, road-shows, conferencesCalendar for analyst calls and presentationsEvents and communication plan for institutional shareholdersDevelop and monitor performance metrics for investor relationsKeep track of investor base and top investorsComprehensive and competitive analysis of different financial models /metricsDetecting the ongoing operational changes in the organizations and tracking them through ongoing contacts with management and conveying them properly to the investors.Create and maintain press releases, presentations, and other communication documents of organization-related, earnings-related events and strategies for brokers, analysts, institutional investorsSummarize the analyst reports for top managementServe as primary point of contact for the investment communityConstantly update 'Investor Relations (IR)' section on the company websiteArrange conferences, roadshows, earnings transcript calls, and investor interactions whenever requiredInvestor relation job description includes regularly tracking investors' perception and query, conveying the same to the management, and resolving any discrimination if they arise.After earnings release or publications of financial results, convey the investment community's necessary feedback to the top management. In case of any differences in opinion, help remove the ambiguity between the management and investment groupsInteraction with business analysts, institutional shareholdersSchedule and organize investor meetings, road-shows, conferences etc.Schedule and organize analyst calls and meetingsPrepare and align agenda for meetingsPrepare and circulate minutes of investor meetings/transcript for analyst callsSummarize and circulate analyst reportsLead preparation of documents for analyst ppts, roadshows, peer comparison reportsPrepare investor presentations, press releases etc.Prepare global competitor evaluation and peer comparison reportsEnsure timely update of reports and documents on website
The Successful Applicant
Education QualificationsGraduate from a recognized university specializing in finance/ accounts. A postgraduate degree such as MBA (Finance) or Masters in Commerce is not necessary but will be an additional advantage12-15 years comparable work experience as IR lead in a publicly listed company or as a business analyst covering IT space. Should have well established relationship with Analyst community covering IT spaceIndustry experience in IT/ITeS and/or pre IPO experience will be preferredFor candidates from industry, listed company experience is mandatoryStrong excel, presentation skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills
