Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with experience in Backend development to lead our team of Software Engineers. The Lead Software Engineer - Backend will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and maintenance of the backend systems of our software products.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers in developing and maintaining backend systems using programming languages such as Java.
- Define and implement best practices for backend development including code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with front-end developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing of backend systems to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects in software products.
- Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
- Participate in Agile development process including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including design documents, API documentation, and user manuals.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Must Have Skills :
- Experience leading and managing a team of Software Engineers.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with API development and integration using technologies such as REST.
- Familiarity with software development tools such as JIRA, Git, or Jenkins.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and processes.
- Experience in Microservices.
ISMS Role and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to information security policies and processes of organization to protect business data and assets.
- Understanding and reporting on information security risks using risk assessment and treatment methodologies for the impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business data.
- Understanding of systems configuration, hardening, patch management and deployment.
- Understanding of systems backups and restoration to protect the business data from any disaster events.
- Provisioning and de-provisioning logical access to information processing systems (such as network and servers) as authorized.
- Implementing appropriate physical and technical safeguards at network and computing systems level, to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business data.
- Understanding and reporting on how business data is stored, processed, and transmitted by the organization and by third-party vendors (as applicable).
- Report actual or suspected security and/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriate authority.
