Job Description :


- The Lead Test Engineer is a developer in test responsible for managing overall testing for the project including design, development and maintenance of automated test, and various software test engineering activities.

- Experienced in Agile onsite/offshore work model and coordination.

- Ability to handle testing activities for multiple projects and to meet project deadlines.

- Proficient in testing concepts, Java and/or Selenium he/she should be able to write test scenarios, test cases and automated test that validates the application functionality.

- Should possess excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, able to interact with application development teams, business analysts/SME, business users and project managers to understand requirements and communicate status.

Must Have :

- Minimum 5+ Years of experience.

Responsibilities :

- Manage and lead overall testing activities for the project, track process, and report status and issues.

- Develop test approach and automation strategy for functional and regression testing.

- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, maintaining traceability to test cases.

- Debug/troubleshoot issues and propose workaround solution.

- Assist other team members.

- Assist in review of test cases and test automation scripts.

- Works closely with application development teams to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts.

- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Skills :

- 5-8 years of software testing experience

- 5 years of core java or Selenium Test NG automation experience

- API automation using Rest Assured

- Proficient in writing SQL queries

- Agile experience

- Understanding of CI/CD

- Understanding of test management process and SDLC/STLC
