Guidewire Practice Leader

Work Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Noida

Work Experience : 15 to 20 Years


Job Description/Summary


  • 15+ Years of relevant consulting or Insurance industry experience
  • Scale System Delivery Experience preferably for Guidewire Full suite (Policy Centre, Billing Centre, Claims Centre, Contact Manager, Digital, Datahub and info centre)
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in managing large GW full suite implementation through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping, solution, design, planning, requirements gathering, development, testing (QA/UAT) and dev/QA/UAT/production environment setup (GW product installations) on technical expertise specifically in GW Policy, Claims, Billing and interfacing (Integration) with Third Party systems including complex legacy applications.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology with sales and delivery in driving the growth on GW vertical and build/execute COE for GW client specific workshop and solutioning around GW implementations and Sustenance plans to travel to either the US, Europe and/or Australia/NZ in support of project implementations.

Functional / Soft skills

  • Have Estimation, Solution capabilities, Pre-Sales experience
  • Track record or future ability to develop a GW Practice for organizations
  • Plans for GW trainings and GW Certifications and planning development of Guidewire accelerators and tools with GW partner ecosystem team for certifications, trainings, governance calls, client base issues escalations etc.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, Web services, ACORD, ISO, NCCI etc.)
  • Awareness of technological trends to determine where to apply new technologies. of insurance operations and functional responsibilities. Possess strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are must, accurate and detail oriented working experience in Onshore/Offshore model and handling large team motivated, a team player and a self-starter who can work independently ownership of customer issues.
