SDE2 - Frontend

As a Frontend SDE2 Frontend, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the frontend applications ensuring optimal application performance and high-quality code.

Responsibilities will include

Functional Expertise

-Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable frontend code.

-Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

Problem Solving

-Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the best code quality.

-Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and proactively suggest improvements.

Interaction

-Collaborate with the backend team and product managers to build new features and improve existing functionality.

Qualification & Experience (type & industry)

-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

-3+ years of experience in frontend development.

-Proficient in JavaScript and ReactJS, and familiar with other frontend technologies and libraries.

Skills & know-how

-Solid understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment.

-Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

-Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

-Experience in the startup ecosystem, preferably in the Fintech space, will be an advantage.
