Job Title: Workday Functional Test AnalystLocation: Remote (offshore)Duration: ContractJob Description:Job DescriptionThe Workday Functional Test Analyst focuses on testing and quality assurance for multiple Workday modules, ensuring accurate configurations and business processes through thorough testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.Testing & Quality Assurance- Execute test cases for Workday implementations and enhancements.- Perform unit, integration, regression, and/or user acceptance testing (UAT) across Workday modules.- Document and track defects, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve issues.- Validate Workday configurations and business processes against functional requirements.Functional Analysis & Support- Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.- Translate business needs into functional specifications and Workday configuration requirements.- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within Workday.- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, configuration changes, and process flows.- Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to project teams.- Collaborate with HRIS, HRBP’s, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, IT, integration specialists, and external consultants.QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.- 3+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst or similar role.- Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Workday Test Framework, Smartsheet or third-party testing platforms).- Strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.PREFERRED SKILLS- Workday Pro Certification or equivalent Workday training.- Experience with Workday Reporting (Custom Reports, Calculated Fields).- Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other ticketing systems.
