Your Responsibilities:  Staff at Gleeson College are committed to the belief that all students can be thriving people, capable learners and leaders for God's world, and work to ensure that students develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to thrive in a rapidly changing and complex world. As our Acting Assistant Principal Student Development, you will: Lead and inspire : Directly support, empower, and collaborate with the House Leadership and School Counsellor Teams, and work with all staff within the College community. Champion restorative practices : Support students with approaches that nurture positive behaviour, dignity, and respect, ensuring a culture of inclusion and growth. Drive student wellbeing and leadership: Coordinate impactful initiatives like Personal Development and Student Leadership Programs which empower students to flourish. Collaborate at a strategic level : Work closely alongside the Principal, Deputy Principal, and Leadership Team to shape and implement the College’s vision for continuous improvement. Be at the heart of student life : Co-coordinate key events such as camps, graduations, and orientation activities that define the student experience. You have:  Experience in working with young people in a range of pastoral care initiatives. Experience and/or knowledge of Restorative Justice/Practices. Ability to analyse, interpret and understand relevant data and information to inform future plans for improvement. Demonstrated evidence of effective leadership, teamwork and collaboration. An understanding and commitment to the ethos of Catholic schools. Acquired and maintain your Teacher’s Registration. Availability to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and completed RRHAN-EC training.  Interested?
