Job purpose::

Knowledge of research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment, customer handling etc.


Roles & responsibilities::

  1. Lead key projects in R&D to support business goals.
  2. Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products with CFT.
  3. Understand customer expectations and support CFT for feasibility study.
  4. Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment.
  5. Suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development.
  6. Good understanding of process optimization.
  7. Able to handle customer Independently, located Globally.



Functional competencies::

  1. Min. 5 yrs. experience in transmission design (Gears, Transmission Assy, CVT etc.).
  2. R&D & design experience is must.
  3. Good understanding of product development process.
  4. Hands on experience on stack-up analysis.
  5. Having experience on DFMEA and capturing critical to quality & critical to process parameters.
  6. Deep understanding of process of Casting/Forging and Machining.
  7. Work closely with quality & process team to suggest improvements in respective areas.
  8. Able to handle manufacturing/process/quality issues and work with CFT to resolve the issues.

  3. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment.
